I purchased a 2015 rogue from a DIFFERENT dealership that has left me very disappointed. This service center fixed the main issue and I am so greatful. Service manager KEITH has gone above and beyond for me and has made my experience with Lia Nissan memorable. Nissan is very lucky to have a superb and caring person like KEITH as a manager.
Five stars!!
Went into the dealership to look at a Nissan Xterra. One of the salesman, Steve, was nice and he let me take it for a test drive. He didn't even really try to sell me the vehicle for a cheaper price, because he knew I wanted it. He then requested a deposit before I even applied for a loan. I said sure, so I put $500 down. After a lot of confusion about CT vs Mass law, it was determined I couldn't purchase the vehicle till I was 18. And they wanted the car gone on the 31st (the day before my birthday Nov 1st) just so they could meet October's quota. This would have placed a huge burden on my mother. So they didn't really work with me. I was denied the loan later that week and the payments were definitely more than my mother could afford, so I requested my deposit back on Thursday. I talked to Joe and he gave me attitude that they already sold the car anyway, I was told it would take a week to process the refund. But I needed the money back to put a deposit on a new vehicle. So I called back on Friday and was told that Joe wasn't in and he would be in Saturday. I then called back Saturday and I was told I'd have to wait till the financial dept was open on Monday. So I did. And when I called on Monday they told me it would be a few more days. At this point I was really mad, so my dad called in explaining the situation and they refunded me today on Tuesday. I didn't deserve to be treated as expendable, you lost me as a customer.
Love the service dept here. Great guys
Daniel Kort is the man! Amzing! He is very courteous and enthusiastic to show everything about the vehicle. He got me the deal and color I wanted. It was surprise for my wife and she is so so happy as she got the color of her choice. Thanks Lia Nissan. Highly recommended.
My first experience with Lia Nissan leasing a SUV was fine, although they put me in an SUV I couldn't afford. I wanted a Rogue and they put me in a Murano. I needed a car, because their service department told me that I would have to pay $3000 to fix my car. However, when I returned to Lia on Sunday after being called all week at work to come in and they would be able to finish paying off my lease if I paid 2 payments and then it was they eould pay all my payments off, if I made the first payment on the car a picked. I unfortunately had a salesman, by the name of Mr. Cyr. He told me to bring in copies of my pay stubs, names of references and proof of residence. I have been living in my home for over 30 years. Needless to say, when I handed him the paperwork he requested, he didn't even take them or give them to the zfinance manager. I was met and also called by the Sales Manager and then I had the pleasure of meeting the Finance manager. I told Mr. Cyr that my credit was not good because of being laid off from work a few times and a medical emergency. However, I always contacted Nissan Credit Acceptance to explain my situation and they would grant me an extension. I am current with my payments now and I intend to pay this lease off by Novrmber. After, spending 3 hours in the dealership, with my 95 year old mother in the waiting room, I was told that they could put me in a Silver Rogue Sport I had looked at. Bottom of the line, but I didn't care, because I wanted lower payments and a car that was more gas efficient. After 3 hours and getting a cosigner, Mr. Cys comes out to the waiting room where other people were waiting and told me, looks like we can't help you today. He told me to purchase my leased car at the end of the lease which would be $22,000 for a 4,year old car. The car I was looking at was new and the same amount. I told him, why would I want to do that? Also, while sitting with him and waiting for an answer back from the Finance Manager he told me that he hears voices from behind him sometimes like people are talking to him, but no one is there. At this point, I told my mom let's go, but he said we should be hearing something soon. I have a much better job now, then when I leased the Murano they put me in for a payment of almost $500 a month. I did some researh and when they don't want to help you or you get an incompetent salesperson, everyone gets the same credit score. It's crazy because Nissan Credit Acceptance told me to go in to the dealership and get in to a car with lower payments. And, now they are denying me. Btw, the Sales Manager and the Finance Manager never came out to see me before I left the dealership. So, I went to another dealership and was approved within 15 minutes. How can that be? The treatment we received at the other dealership was amazing. I should have never spent that much time with people who promised to help me, but in the end I had to help my mom out to the car and try to explain what happened. I read great experiences with Lia. I am happy for all of you. But, when a single woman with a good job and who is also a loyal customer (all my service checks were done there) is treated so poorly, I think it should be known. One more thing, Mr. Cyr never even let me drive a car. Even that first day I came in. I will make sure to tell others to do business with Balise.
