I had a wonderful experience at Lia Honda! My previous car was 15 years old and in bad shape, and it was time to acquire something more reliable and modern. Still, I was overwhelmed with what is a major life decision. My salesman, Matt, knew that, and he never pushed me to make a choice. He simply answered all my questions with superb knowledge, and a wonderful sense of humor, and stepped away when I said I needed time to think. I know salespeople are taught to be pushy and persistent, to make the sale (I've been at those jobs), and to be honest had that been the case, I definitely would have left without a purchase. Instead, I am now driving a wonderful, new, and very safe car that I love. Thanks, Matt! Thanks, Lia Honda!
I had to get a car, quickly. Wife was complaining. That's a baaaad way to start. Their staff were polite enough, I guess, but when I ran the interest rate, after the fact, I was overpaying by about $100/month. Well, I was stuck, had to pay it. Hondas are good, but I will be going somewhere else for my next one. If you go here, do your research well in advance, go at the end of the month or better yet end of December, and know that you had better be on your toes, and very alert. Then they had this maintenance plan, for oil changes- except they didn't say how many there were, they implied they were unlimited. Turned out they weren't. Don't ever get your car fixed at a dealership, by way; the mechanics will often sign off on work that was never done. Find a mechanic in town who stays in business because he gets the job done. This will be cheaper up front, and cheaper in the long term.
I just bought the third new Honda for my family from Lia Honda of Enfield, a Pilot in 2014, a Civic in 2015, and this week I bought a Civic Touring for myself. The reason I keep coming back to Lia Honda of Enfield is the outstanding service that has been provided by John Bycenski during the buying process, including selection of the model, selection of the options, reviewing the advantages for either a choice of a new 2017 versus a new 2018 model, describing the various financing options and finalizing the purchase; and, of course, showing me a similar model with a comprehensive walk-around of the car to give me a “hands on” demonstration of the car’s features prior to my test drive.
We just bought a car from Lia this past week - the whole process was amazing! My salesperson, Troy, was knowledgeable, friendly and SO helpful! He has us leaving there on Sunday knowing we were making the best decision for our family! We are so grateful to the whole staff at Lia who made this such a pleasant, quick, experience. We love our new car so far and will certainly recommend them in the future! And a special thank you to Jon Alaimo who referred us to this dealership! Great experience! Jason did the final paperwork and was great as well! I'm sure others helped, those are the only names I remember!
Overall, my buying experience with John in specific and Lia Honda in general would be rated “Perfect 10s” across the board.
This is the 4th car I get from Lia Honda of Enfield, and they have always been great regardless of the circumstances. Mary was really helpful and even though I did not get the exact number I wanted, it simply cannot get any better when it comes to value, service and reliability. I did research throughout the state every time i have to get a car and i always end up there because they always have the best combo. I would highly recommend and I will be there on October 2019 when my other lease expires. Thank you!
The best part of the buying experience for me was the orientation John gave to me for my new car when I came to pick it up. John was patient and helpful when I did a through walk-around of my new car. John then set-up my smart phone to link to the car’s electronics package, helped me understand and, where applicable, set up the other electronic features such as Navigation, Audio, and Climate Control. John gave me a complete demo and explanation of the enhanced safety features of my new Civic including Lane Departure, Collision, Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control. John’s attention to detail found a missing valve cap on one of my tires and replaced it on the spot. The vehicle I drove away was spotless, attesting to the diligence and the fine work of the Lia Honda service staff. Melissa in Service has also been great, although the only time I see her is at oil changes for the other two Hondas, which isn't very often.
