Dishonest and expensive! I sent my girlfriend in alone to have her Honda Civic's exhaust repaired after hearing positive feedback from other customers. After looking at the car I spoke with a young woman who informed me that the whole rear section of the exhaust had rotted and was un-salvagable and was given a quote (an extremely high one at that!) to replace the entirety of the exhaust as the 'nipple' on the muffler was 'completely rotted'. I told my girlfriend via phone that we should shop other options but became very curious as I did not recall damage to the exhaust to the extent that the shop described. Upon returning home with the car I examined the 'nipple' and found that not only was the metal in tact but had an additional 6 inches of space past the 'nipple' that warranted a complete exhaust replacement in their opinion. While I have heard shining reviews of the caliber of their work in the past dishonesty in auto repair (especially when dealing with females) is unacceptable and will assure that I take my business elsewhere in the future!
